我們一直在旅行中尋找故事裡的一種感動……
We've been always finding a touched of stories during travel.

卻忘了故事裡還有一種感動…就是有感情的傳統食物…

這次在烈嶼(小金門),我們無意間找到了三種……

 

Although we always forget there is another touched in stories, and that is a traditional food with emotion.

Unintentionally, we found three kinds this time in Lieyu. (Part of Kinmen)

 


 

這次在小島,我們無意間找到了三種……

 

 

1、客兄粿

 

烈嶼特色傳統點心,雖然有人覺得名字不優雅,已經更改了新名字,其實新的名字反而有點假掰……哈哈……

客兄粿~這名字意義包含的是一種~台灣小島才有的傳統,就是台語的幽默感…

吃一個傳統點心,有一個很幽默名字,是會讓人會心一笑的食物……

當我們要請阿嬤做121個菜包時,她的孫子很擔心…阿嬤會不會太累,可是阿嬤又會很開心,怎麼做可以更完美呢!

這裡面還包含了對阿嬤和孫子彼此間滿滿不捨和疼愛…

2、紅高粱年糕

 

這個阿嬤在湖井頭旁鐵皮屋旁,每次有人來,都很熱情吆喝來買唷……

可是生意沒很好,幾次經過,心想下次有機會一定跟她捧場,

我們找到阿嬤電話,她超級開心,在沒有網路介紹下,生意平平淡淡,其實製作年糕是很費工費時的,而且都用料實在!

 

 

3、芋頭冰淇淋

 

農民用當地特產,烈嶼芋頭,金門高粱酒,牛奶,葡萄乾,

成分很天然,自己調配出來,做出美味沒有其他添加物的冰淇淋……

這次我們很幸運的,接到121人的大團隊,我們終於有機會跟她們訂點心了……

當地小店的阿嬤們,雖然做到“歪腰”,

但是非常開心,可以有機會做這麼多點心給大家吃,一直要我們跟大家說謝謝,

 

希望你們也會喜歡這三種傳統點心……

1.Ke Xiong Kueh  (A dumpling of Kinmen style)

 

This is a feature of this traditional snack in Lieyu. Some people consider this food's name is not appropriate so changed a new name, however, this new name is pretentious instead.

Ke Xiong Kueh is including the meaning of a unique tradition in this offshore island of Taiwan, which is the Taiwanese sense of humor.

Eating a traditional snack with a humorous name really lets us has a knowing smile.

When we made a reservation of 121 Ke Xiong Kueh to the granny her grandson worried about granny be too tired, nevertheless granny was so happy. How did to do it be more perfect?

This also included full of love between granny and grandson.

2、Red kaoliang sticky rice cake

 

This granny locates in the sheet metal house next to the Guningtou Battle Museum. She is always hospitable for peddling while someone is coming.

But the store's business still is slow. Several times passed by and must have to buy some on our mind.

We found the granny's phone number and she was very happy. The store's business is quiet without any internet recommendation.
In fact, making sticky rice cakes cost time-consuming, hard-working, and fine cooking materials.

 

 

 

3、Taro ice cream

 

Farmers use produces taro in Lieyu, kaoliang in Kinmen, milk and raisin.

Delicious ice cream without any additives was made by those farmers just natural ingredients.

Fortunately, we had received a large group of 121 people and had a chance to order their snacks finally.

These grannies of the local shops made snacks who tired, however, they were so happy to have a chance can make these snacks for them.

Asked us to appreciate these people in the group.
